The time has come that we as Oklahomans can sit back and let career politicians “do what they were elected to do.” We, the hardworking people, small business owners, parents and lifelong Oklahomans need to start taking on leadership roles and start demanding accountability.
As a hard-working parent, living in District 91, we can face struggle when economic imbalances come along. Utilities, insurance, taxes they all continue to rise, often making it hard for citizens to get ahead.
I feel called to fight for not only my own family, but yours as well, that’s why I’m running for State House of Representatives. I am not a politician, even if elected I will never be a politician, but I am a fighter and I will always be willing to be a voice for those you don’t have one.
What’s on my heart and mind:
Constitutional Rights: The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic, not merely a Democracy. Our Constitutional Republic is enshrined in the United States Constitution, which stands as the Supreme Law of the land. This Constitution is rooted in the Declaration of Independence and the invaluable experiences of our Founding Fathers. It is designed to remain unaffected by the fluctuations of democracy. Our Constitution distinctly delineates the powers of the federal government, reserving any powers not explicitly granted to it for the States or the People. Any attempts to redefine the United States of America as a “Democracy” will be firmly opposed.
We as citizens must uphold the principles of limited government, individual liberty, natural rights, and personal moral responsibility. We must envision Oklahoma as a land of opportunity, where those who work diligently and follow fair and equally enforced laws can chase their dreams with a realistic expectation of success.
Second Amendment Rights: I advocate for the complete protection of U.S. Second Amendment rights in Oklahoma by revising the Oklahoma Constitution to align with the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Additionally, I endorse the preservation of the Constitutional Carry law within Oklahoma’s statutes.
Cost of Living: I will champion the cause of utility companies to halt the rate increases that burden families and individuals. With the rising costs of food and supplies, it is essential that we insist vendors maintain fair pricing and refrain from marking up items during periods of high demand.
Financial Responsibility: I am a strong proponent of maintaining balanced government budgets by cutting unnecessary spending, eliminating fraud, and avoiding service duplication. I also support the principles of transparency and regular audits to ensure accountability in government spending.
Property Tax: I aspire to collaborate with fellow state leaders to gradually eliminate property taxes for all Oklahomans. In the meantime, I aim to work with them to put an immediate stop to the ongoing taxation affecting our elderly population.
Senior Support: I want to ensure that there is adequate funding to sustain programs that assist our elderly community in accessing nutritious meals daily, such as Mobile Meals.
Insurance Reform: A Comprehensive Overhaul of Insurance is Necessary.
The insurance landscape is in dire need of a complete restructuring. Home and auto insurance rates keep rising, while companies repeatedly deny claims that should indeed be covered. Furthermore, health insurance providers are raising premiums while simultaneously reducing coverage amounts, leaving many Oklahomans struggling to afford life-saving medications.
Family and Protecting Life: I hold the belief that God is the Author and Creator of human life, starting at conception. Every individual, made in His image, deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion. I believe in the core principles of traditional marriage, as ordained by God, which is defined as a union between one biological man and one biological woman—an identity established at conception. We advocate for the right to life from conception until natural death, along with religious freedom for all.
Accountability: I firmly believe that individuals must be held accountable both morally and legally. Regardless of one’s identity, if a crime is committed, there should be consequences. Those who perpetrate crimes against children, the vulnerable, or the elderly deserve to face the maximum penalties allowed by law.
Education: I believe it is the inherent right and duty of parents (hereafter referring to parents and/or legal guardians) to guide their children’s upbringing and education—be it public, private, charter, or alternative means—without interference, regulation, or penalties from the government.
The primary objective of public schools should be to ensure proficiency in essential subjects such as phonics-based reading, written and oral communication, mathematics, sciences, history, foundational documents, our nation’s heritage, critical thinking skills, basic morals, and civics. Locally elected school boards ought to possess the authority to define and implement all public-school curricula, policies, and procedures within their districts. We advocate for transparent accountability regarding all tax-funded education in Oklahoma. The federal government should holds no constitutional authority over OUR education.
Immigration: I fully support welcoming immigrants who seek to legally pursue freedom and opportunities. Those who wish to work, embrace our values, learn the English language, and respect our Union’s borders and the sovereignty of our states are always welcome.
Military and Veteran Support: I also support the notion of ensuring a robust national defense and champion the concept of “Peace through Strength.”
In addition, the Department of Veterans Affairs tends to be overly bureaucratic and slow in providing care. I would advocate for the expansion of community care, which enables veterans to consult private-sector doctors outside of the VA system.
